Hello! I'm back again to update you on my latest creative projects.
Commissions are open!
Did you know I am doing commissions for 50% percent off until September 22? Commissioning me, sharing my commission page, or referring a friend- it all counts. Any support is highly appreciated!
Recent visual art pieces.
I've done a good amount of style tweaks since the last you heard from me. The first four I'm especially hoping to emulate more of in the future because I like their semi-watercolor feel and texture.
Website rework.
Now that you've warmed up with some fun stuff, I wanted to mention that my site has undergone various changes taking into account the flow of viewer traffic. Also, just trying to save space and money on the site. I won't get into the hyper-detail, so I'll just mention a few broad changes.
I took out a few pages that I have not updated in years, such as the one about my Artseed projects.
My "about" page is gone, too? Yes, it's something I thought a lot about. Because most of my website traffic comes from people online who I don't know in person, I don't want to necessarily reveal too much about my real-life self. That being said, I do want people in my real life to know that they're going to my site when I refer them to it. It's still kind of a work in progress, honestly.
I made the look and feel of the site more consistent across all pages. In other words, I made the color scheme the same throughout most pages and tried to make everything look a lot simpler.
My commissions page has been updated.
Ending on a poetic note.
I have always loved writing poetry since I was a child. I don't do it often, but here's a recent one that I thought I'd share to end this post.
Dusk! Come to the body of the child
Creep in gradually like cells die, turmoil still potent but dampened mild
Dawn! Come to the scarred scape of the adult
Whose wisdom epicenters lay in their faults
Night! And reminisce of the dreams forgot
Where child returns and epicenters project
To form landscapes and weathers only possible in thought
Must the adult carry these dreams laden in neglect?
Signed,
A. Jaecadin V.B.
